ever want to smash someone’s face with a bat?

last night (after 2:30am!) someone smashed the passenger side window of my car and stole my ipod.  keep in mind this was in the driveway at my parent’s house, which is tucked deep in a corner of a residential area in the normally-crime-free city of bellevue, wa.  and the worst part is that i usually always bring it inside with me.  the one night i don’t, the iThief makes his move. 

i’ll get you, motherfucker.

    that sucks, but i feel your pain, my ipod was stolen along with my wallet when i went to pittsburg a couple of months ago.

    omg, thats so terrible. people can be so stupid. If it makes u feel better, on friday my dog ate my ipod. and thats the 2nd time it happened. I just still can’t believe someone would break into ur car and steal ur ipod.

    someone totally broke into my car last year and stole my cd player/radio which made my ipod useless, i know how you feel. in other news my ipod spent all of last night surrounded by snow and miracle of all miracles still worked this morning!!!

    Wow…One of my friends had that happen to him. The irony of the situation is that they smashed the window, but he hadn’t even locked the door.

    i always make it a point to make my electronic devices look shitty so no one steals them. my cell phone looks like an animal has been chewing on it, and my mp3 player (a creative zen vision, which in my experience is far superior to that of an ipod) is A, not an ipod, and B also looks kinda gross. I still own both. : )

    we were always really lucky with theft on the road. i know way too many who had shit stolen though (especially in detroit for some reason. that place scares me..).

    i remember i saw men, women, and children at northeastern and a few days beforehand they hand their entire trailer stolen which added up to $40,000+ and their insurance didnt even cover half of it. : T

    That is terrible news, and I am quite sorry for your loss. Good luck with your quest of smashing faces, although I must say this entry was completely worth it simply because someone up there said their dog had eaten their iPod. Twice.

    I have a 30 gb Ipod that only copies songs about 30% of the time and freezes frequently. Second sup par apple device I owned. You are welcome to have it.

    This exact same thing happened to me back in May. Nice suburban area, left my ipod in my car parked in my parents driveway, someone smashed the window and jacked it. I’m sorry to hear about it :(

    I can completely commiserate on the shit scenario that you just described (and by ‘just described’ I mean ‘described back in February’). About two weeks ago someone smashed out the passenger window of my car with a crow bar, which also scratched up the door and crushed the headrest. For all their hard work, they were only able to scamper off with my (very old) iPod, my work uniform, and my backpack filled with all the notes for all my college classes. To make matters worse, I had taken the backpack with me to Africa while I was working on an archaeological dig, so it had lots of sentimental value. Smash someone’s face with a bat, you say? I’ll see your bat and raise you a sledgehammer.
